TEAL  was conceived by famous H.C Hanson (worked for Ted Geary) and Leigh Coolidge, Seattle Naval Architects,  as an Alaska Fisheries Patrol Vessel  DESIGNED SPECIFICALLY FOR and served in the ALEUTIAN Islands for years as well as all along the Alaska coastline. She has gone through 2 very significant full restorations and repower by the previous owner and the present owner, bringing her to full yacht quality and finish. She is a fully capable ocean passagemaker with 2000 gallons of fuel and modern Cummins 855-NTA which pushes her along very efficiently at 8kts.

This yacht is extremely well thought out with systems designed for minimum crew and is easily handled by two people. Full stand up-walk around engineroom with easy access to Main engine and two generators, custom watermaker and diesel forced air furnace system.  Tool and parts storage very well organized. Engine and Generators are serviced with built in oil change evacuation pump systems. Aft of engineroom is the new 17.5cuft upright freezer, and full size Washer and Dryer, and the crew double berth, all accessed by ladder through the raised trunk cabin onto aft deck.

The main deck accommodations are expansive with Pilothouse forward, Port/Starboard teak Dutch doors with upper panel window, and large leather settee, current electronics suite and wing control stations in addition to central PROPER SHIPS wheel, massive SHIPS compass, engine controls and panels. Down two steps to the generous Salon  featuring  a large "L" shaped leather settee forward, and aft a large custom dining table and opposite settees, leather finished.  Galley is aft and will accommodate several people while preparing meals, new propane 4 burner stove. Expansive food prep counters with exquisite custom wood panel cabinetry providing excellent stores and cooking utensil storage. Double stainless steel sinks.
The yacht accommodates 9 in 3 staterooms plus  crew berth aft. Two VacuFlush heads.
Separate 61hp diesel powers the Hydraulic bow thruster and anchor windlass  handlling the 500lb anchor and 450 feet of 5/8" chain.
Aft deck accommodates a "cocktail wet bar" or fish processing station with aft  Control station to Starboard
Ladder to Boatdeck with Purpleheart wood treads
Large Trunk Cabin mid-deck with fully removable hatch for handling large items to below decks, and sliding hatch and ladder for daily access to crew berth and engineroom
Full removable raised hatch to lazzarette with sliding hatch and ladder for daily access.
On deck at the stern, a Very unique curved settee with adjoining table that converts to Double sized berth for Nature Lovers and Star Gazers
